This is the User guide for Photo ID, an Android Application.

Start Photo ID droid

Read the official guidelines

There are a couple of guidelines. You can press « Next » to read the next page. You can also use the pad left and right buttons to navigate.

Press « I don’t need help » at any time to leave.

Open a picture

After reading the guidelines, Photo ID will open the image browser.

Select the picture of your choice.

If you don’t have one yet, select menu and « Capture picture ».

Crop and scale

Translate

Use the touch screen to reposition the image.

Scale

Use the zoom controls to scale the picture.

Ideally the face of the subject must be in the circle.

The background is displayed in red, and it must not be visible at all.

If you zoom in too much, a warning will be displayed.

Save photo ID

When you are done, open the menu and « save the photo » to save an individual jpeg picture.

Save photo IDs sheet

In menu, select « Save photo sheet » to generate a sheet of photos, that can be printed on a standard photo size((this depends from your country. France will be 10cm x 15cm ; USA 5″ x 7″ ; etc.))
